INFORMATION about the rules of room and segment settlement before check-out for residents of SGGW dormitories
- We settle accounts with the equipment taken from the storeroom during its opening hours, and make an appointment for the time of returning the room/segment,
- after collecting the room/segment, together with the storage card and the resident’s card, report to the office to check out from the DS.
Prepare the room and segment for collection:
- Remove stickers, wash or paint dirt from walls;
- Thoroughly clean: window, window sill, window frames, radiator, doors (including vents), door frames, floor (including behind and under couches and under cabinets and desks), tiles, terracotta, joints between wall and floor tiles, air grating, waste basket, mop bucket, bowl, lamps, lamp, mirrors, glass shelves, plastic bookcase (if included in the segment’s equipment) and other plastic items, etc. ;
- wash household appliances thoroughly, i.e. defrost and wash the fridge, slide out the fridge and wash the floor underneath. In addition, in ZDS-1 and ZDS-7 the hob and hood should be washed.
- 4 Thoroughly wash the bathroom and WC with particular attention to sink, sink and shower taps. Sanitary facilities (i.e. toilet, basins, shower tray) and taps are to be clean and limescale free.
- Furniture to be left clean (inside and out) not covered with placards, posters, stickers; wash couch inside and wood casing; wash swivel chair -plastic elements; wash protective plates on walls at kitchen cabinets, couch and table, wash table and/or chair legs;
- discard mop tip, used cloths and scourers;
- report damage to: contacts, locks, leaking taps and cisterns to reception for repair (note in the defects book);
- for damage caused by residents (broken glass, damaged furniture, blankets, bedding and other equipment), the resident is obliged to pay a financial contribution to the ZDS office in the amount of the repair costs price list or the value of the equipment according to the inventory books (the ZDS manager issues a receipt).
Earlier cleaning by all residents seems to be the most equitable and will not burden the last resident to move out of a segment or room with cleaning.
ATTENTION!!!
THE PERSON WHO IS THE LAST TO MOVE OUT OF A ROOM/SEGMENT IS ULTIMATELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE TECHNICAL CONDITION AND CLEANLINESS!
We would like to remind you that it is the duty of every resident of the dormitory to pay their dues on time and to end each residence period with a zero balance!!!
